Our math program at Johnston Elementary School is the Math Out of the Box curriculum. The Math Out of the Box curriculum was developed in the College of Engineering and Science at Clemson University. It is research based and is aligned to the South Carolina Mathematics Standards. The lessons are inquiry based and students use a variety of manipulatives.
